Marel’s Academy is hosted by aNewSpring, which is based in the Netherlands, governed by GDPR and is an ISO27001 certified company. In order to provide you with these eLearning services, Marel and its processor, aNewSpring, will process your name, email, location (from your IP address), cookies (to maintain your personal settings and for analytical purposes).

Users can be set from ‘active’ to ‘inactive’ or ‘archived’ and be deleted by a Marel administrator, also on request of the user. A user can do a request by using the HELP button and fill in the form.

If a learner or observer is inactive for >1 year, the personal data will be removed.

People who have the ‘observer’ role can check the effect and progress of learners of the same organization as the observer.

Marel may export your data (name, email address, and training data) in reports which are used to track completion of learning activities, expirations of certifications, to send reminders for renewals of licenses, and ensure that personnel have completed courses necessary for a follow up learning activities.
